★★★★★
I had an outstanding experience with this yoga teacher. The classes are truly excellent — very complete on every level. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail, especially in the adjustments. He doesn’t just guide you through the postures; he helps you go deeper, refine your alignment, and truly understand the practice from within. I improved significantly in a very short period of time.

I did the 200 hour teacher training course with Kunal, I was very impressed with his knowledge of anatomy and physiology and how he related them with the applied practices of the asanas! He is a charismatic and enthusiastic teacher with a desire to get the best out of you. A rare teacher to find with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of science and yoga!

Kunal is without a doubt the best yoga teacher in Arambol. He has a rare ability to truly see and understand his students, always paying close attention to each person with kindness and patience. His teaching is highly professional, yet deeply human. His instructions are very clear and his posture alignments are exceptional, which makes every class both safe and transformative.

Kunal is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever practised with. His hatha yoga classes were extremely well designed and his individual support to every student to ensure proper alignment of asanas was priceless. Kunal has an extensive knowledge of how to adjust yoga practice to specific medical conditions.

Kunal is an exceptional yoga instructor who has a natural ability to connect with his students on a deep level. His teaching during the 200-hour TTC yoga instructor course was nothing short of transformative. Throughout the course, Kunal guided us with patience and encouragement, making us feel comfortable and supported in our practice.

The teacher was incredibly kind and welcoming. What impressed me most was his amazing hands-on adjustments — through his supportive assists, I was able to go much deeper into every twist than I ever thought possible. The class felt very personal and was thoughtfully adapted to our individual needs.

★★★★★
Kunal, great guy, super yogi & dedicated teacher. You’ll be in safe hands with Kunal. I really enjoyed his classes for a rounded stretch and strengthening, both. Also the rooftop shala at Famafa is one of the best, close to the beach for after sunset and off the main high street for a calmer, quieter practice.

Questions

Questions students ask

Something else on your mind? Ask Kunal directly.

I’m new to yoga. Can I still join a course?

Yes. Our courses are designed to support complete beginners. You’ll get step-by-step guidance and build a strong foundation at your own pace, and the teachers adapt each class to your level.

Will I be qualified to teach yoga internationally?

Yes. After completing a Yoga Alliance certified training with Kunal Yoga School you can teach Hatha and Ashtanga yoga anywhere in the world. Some countries have their own registration rules, so check locally before teaching professionally.

How much does yoga teacher training in India cost?

Our fees include your room and vegetarian meals: from $700 for the 100-hour training, $1,200 to $1,300 for the 200-hour, $1,800 for the 300-hour and $2,600 for the 500-hour (private room prices). Flights, visa and airport transfers are extra.

What is the food like?

All meals are freshly prepared, simple and traditional Indian vegetarian food. Vegan and other dietary needs are catered for on request. Meals are provided Monday to Saturday.

What is the accommodation like?

Clean, comfortable rooms with an attached bathroom and hot water, bed linen and towels. Private and couple rooms are available on every course.

What is the difference between the 100-hour and 200-hour training?

The 100-hour course is a foundation, ideal for beginners or for deepening your own practice. The 200-hour course goes further into teaching methodology, philosophy and anatomy, and is the standard requirement to register as a yoga teacher.

Is the 100-hour course a recognised certification?

Yes, it is a certified course, but it is a partial certification. To become a fully registered teacher you need 200 hours: either add another 100-hour course later, or join the 200-hour programme directly.

How do I book a place?

Fill in the registration form and we’ll email you to confirm, along with details for paying the deposit by Wise transfer. Your place is secured once both the form and the deposit are received.
